PRAIRIE PRINTING

Terms & Conditions

Effective date: September 9, 2026

Please review these Terms carefully. They explain the rules that apply when you use our website, submit artwork or purchase products and services from Prairie Printing.

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to prairieprinting.ca and all products and services supplied by Prairie Printing (“Prairie Printing,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By requesting a quote, approving a proof, submitting payment, placing an order, uploading files or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

If a written quote, order confirmation or service agreement contains terms that conflict with these Terms, the more specific written terms will govern for that order. Certain products may also display product-specific requirements at checkout.

2. Quotes, pricing and taxes

Quotes are based on the information, specifications, quantities, artwork and production requirements available when the quote is issued. A quote may be revised if those details change or if previously undisclosed work is required.

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping, delivery, installation, design work and other charges will be shown or communicated before payment where reasonably practicable. Obvious pricing, typographical or technical errors may be corrected before an order is accepted or produced.

3. Orders and payment

An order is accepted when Prairie Printing confirms it and receives any required payment or deposit. We may decline or cancel an order before production if it cannot be produced safely, lawfully or to an acceptable standard. If we cancel an unproduced order, amounts paid for the cancelled portion will be refunded.

Unless other written payment terms have been approved, payment is required before production. Ownership of completed goods remains with Prairie Printing until all amounts owing are paid.

4. Artwork and design services

Customers are responsible for supplying usable artwork that meets the requirements of the selected product. Additional charges may apply for file setup, cleanup, vectorization, colour correction, logo recreation, design, revisions or other preparation. We will advise you where additional work is reasonably identifiable before proceeding.

Design concepts, drafts and working files created by Prairie Printing remain our property until the related design charges are paid. Unless expressly included in writing, the purchase of printed goods does not include editable source files, fonts, licensed assets or production files.

5. Customer content and intellectual-property rights

You represent that you own, license or otherwise have permission to reproduce every design, photograph, logo, trademark, name, text and other item you submit. You are responsible for obtaining any required permissions or releases.

Prairie Printing may refuse content that appears unlawful, infringing, hateful, threatening, deceptive or otherwise inappropriate. Our willingness to produce an order is not confirmation that the submitted content is lawful or that you hold the necessary rights. You agree to be responsible for claims and reasonable costs arising from content you supplied or instructed us to reproduce, except to the extent caused by Prairie Printing’s own conduct.

6. Proofs and customer approval

Where a proof is provided, production will not begin until approval is received. Approval confirms that you have reviewed and accepted all visible details, including spelling, grammar, names, dates, contact information, layout, dimensions, quantities, orientation, images, colours and finishing instructions.

Prairie Printing is not responsible for errors present in an approved proof or in customer-supplied files when no proof or correction service was requested. Changes requested after approval may require a revised quote, additional design charges and a new production timeline.

7. Colour, size and production variation

Screens produce colour with light, while printing uses inks, toners, dyes or other physical processes. Exact screen-to-print or reprint-to-reprint colour matching is not guaranteed unless a specific colour-matching service is agreed to in writing.

Colour, texture, finish, placement, cutting, trimming, dimensions and material appearance may vary slightly due to production methods, equipment, substrates, environmental conditions and manufacturer tolerances. Such reasonable variations are not defects. Final output is assessed against the approved proof, order specifications and the practical capabilities of the selected process.

8. Customer-supplied products and materials

Customer-supplied garments, products or materials are processed at the customer’s risk. Although reasonable care is taken, Prairie Printing does not guarantee that unfamiliar, used, delicate, coated or otherwise unsuitable items will accept printing or survive production without damage.

If Prairie Printing damages customer-supplied property through our error, our responsibility will be limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the reasonable replacement value of the affected item or the amount paid for the applicable service, whichever is appropriate in the circumstances. Sentimental, collectible or irreplaceable items should not be submitted.

9. Turnaround times and rush orders

Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees, unless a completion date is expressly guaranteed in writing. Production timing begins only after all required payment, usable files, information and proof approval have been received.

Rush service is subject to capacity and may involve additional charges. Prairie Printing is not responsible for delays caused by late approvals, incomplete information, supplier shortages, equipment failure, shipping carriers, severe weather, utility or network interruptions, emergencies or other events outside our reasonable control.

10. Changes and cancellations

Approved custom orders cannot be cancelled or refunded after design work, purchasing, setup or production has begun. If work has not begun, Prairie Printing may approve a cancellation, less payment-processing fees, non-refundable supplier charges and work already completed.

Requested changes are not effective until confirmed by Prairie Printing. Changes may affect price and completion time. If an order is paused because required customer information or approval is missing, the original production estimate no longer applies.

11. Pickup, delivery and shipping

Customers must provide accurate contact, delivery and shipping information. Prairie Printing is not responsible for delay or loss caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Orders should be inspected promptly after pickup or delivery. Visible shipping damage should be documented with photographs of the product and packaging and reported immediately so that a carrier claim can be assessed. Delivery estimates supplied by carriers are not guaranteed by Prairie Printing.

12. Custom products, returns and quality guarantee

Because printed and personalized products are made to order, they are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged because of preference changes, approved design choices, customer-supplied errors or reasonable production variation.

If you believe Prairie Printing made a production error or supplied a defective product, contact us within five business days after pickup or confirmed delivery. Include the order number, a description of the concern and clear photographs. Keep the affected products and packaging until the review is complete.

If we confirm that the order does not materially match the approved proof or agreed specifications because of our error, Prairie Printing may, as appropriate, repair, reproduce or replace the affected portion, issue a credit, or provide a refund. The available remedy will depend on the nature and extent of the issue and applicable law. We may require the affected products to be returned before providing a remedy.

13. Uploaded files, retention and completed-work photography

Uploaded files are used to review, design and produce your order and may be retained to assist with reorders and customer service. Prairie Printing will not sell your artwork or reproduce it as a standalone product without your permission.

Portfolio and promotional use

Unless you request otherwise, Prairie Printing may photograph completed printed products and use those photographs in our portfolio, website, social media, promotional materials or advertising. We are not required to identify or credit the customer, artist or designer when publishing these photographs. This permission applies to photographs of the completed work and does not transfer ownership of the original artwork.

If an order contains confidential material or you want it kept private, write “KEEP PRIVATE — DO NOT PHOTOGRAPH OR PUBLISH” in the order notes during checkout or notify us in writing before production.

We do not guarantee permanent storage of customer files. Customers should retain their own copies of all artwork and order information.

14. Privacy and electronic communications

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By submitting an order or inquiry, you consent to receiving transactional communications needed to quote, proof, produce, deliver and support your order. Marketing communications may be unsubscribed from using the method provided in the message.

15. Website use and third-party services

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious material, scrape restricted information or use the website to violate another person’s rights.

Our website may use or link to third-party platforms, payment providers, shipping services, product designers or websites. Their availability, content and practices are governed by their own terms. Prairie Printing is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

16. Prairie Printing content

Unless otherwise indicated, the Prairie Printing name, branding, website design, original text, graphics, photographs and other site content are owned by or licensed to Prairie Printing. They may not be copied, republished or commercially used without written permission.

18. Governing law, severability and enforcement

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, disputes will be submitted to the courts located in Alberta.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.

19. Changes to these Terms

Prairie Printing may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when posted with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when an order is accepted will govern that order unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
